In order for us to get to know exactly what you want,
in the beginning we will ask you many questions.
We will ask things like: How
long have you been in business? Do you have an
established budget that we must work within? Do you
have a professional company logo? Do you have multiple
locations? What are your primary and secondary products
and/or services? Do you retail or wholesale? Regarding
the sales of your goods or services, what groups
do you currently target? What other groups would
you like to target? What "image" do you want your
web site to portray...an information only or a site
geared towards sales?
Secondly, we will gather
information about your specific products and services: Are
your goods and/or services provided locally or
nationally? If you are a provider of products,
how many different kinds of products do you currently
stock? What are your color preferences
for the site in order to compliment your product
labels? What is the anticipated growth rate of
your company? Who are your top three competitors?
Are your services available elsewhere? Are your
products easily mailed? Would you like to incorporate
a shopping cart on your site to sell your products
around the clock?
Third in line, we will need a specific number of pictures (depending
on the web package selected) to personalize your web site.
Digital pictures are best since they can be easily
e-mailed to us. We will inform you of the sizes we
require. Examples are pictures of you, your staff,
and your company's location. If you have a product
line, we will require individual pictures of each
product--or groups of products (kits) and their descriptions.
We will help you to create images that are visually
impressive, incorporating backgrounds that will compliment
your site's colors and theme.
Lastly, we will need all the information (text) you want presented
on your site. This includes a description of your
company, it's products and services, your contact
details, and your brochure(s), price list(s), as
well as another other printed material. (We will
require ORIGINAL copies of these.)
Once ALL of the above is delivered to us, we will:
Immediately begin
working on your site's design, arrangement, and layout
to create a user-friendly environment. Once the "home"
page is completed, you will be notified via conference
call to make any changes necessary to insure your
complete satisfaction. From that point, the remaining
pages will be created according to your specifications.
Once complete, we will again arrange another conference
call to obtain your approval or to make minor
changes. Shortly thereafter, you will be asked for
a final approval of the finished project. At that
point, your site will go "LIVE" on the world-wide-web
for all to view! Your site will be quickly registered
with all the major search engines and you may begin
using it in your own marketing strategies.
